Specialized Europe-based health and kids beverage manufacturer seeking Managing Director – U.S. Marketing and Sales, to oversee all aspects of managing the U.S. operations. The Managing Director will facilitate the continued establishment and strong growth and reputation of the Company as a market leader in the United States. This individual will lead the efforts to drive excellent brand management, marketing, sales and distribution activities, reporting to Chairman. Specific responsibilities include:
. BP finalisation and presentation to Board
· Leadership and management of the branding, marketing, sales, customer service, distribution and supply chain, finance, human resource and co packers management functions in the United States.
· Development and building of key account relationships with premium retailers including upscale grocers.
· Driving the development and execution of strategic and operating plans.
· Providing leadership in the marketing and sales strategy and the Company’s distribution processes.
· Facilitating distribution through regional and national retailers.
· Staffing the organisation from scratch and building an excellent team through defining and communicating clear goals and objectives.
Requirements include a minimum of 15 years experience with a bachelor’s degree and an M.B.A. preferred. The successful candidate will have brand management and marketing and sales management experience in an upscale, high growth beverage sector driven by excellent marketing, branding, distribution, inventory and customer service performance. Candidate must have as well 'start up' experience in lean organisation model.
