NEW YORK (May 15, 2008) -- Multi-Vitamin Energy Corp. is back with a new line of seven natural multivitamin enhanced waters rich in electrolytes and antioxidants.

The company's low-calorie line features five flavors: dragonfruit, mango-passion, lemonade, kiwi-strawberry and tropical punch. The company's zero-carb, zero-calorie drinks come in cranberry-pomegranate-acai and green tea with honey and ginseng flavors.

The vitamin-packed waters have "a light, clean taste and essential vitamins and minerals designed to hydrate and renew," the company reports. The waters are high in energy replenishing electrolytes and antioxidants and contain no sodium, artificial flavors or coloring. Multi-Vitamin Enhanced waters brand are made from reverse osmosis and/ or distilled deionized water "to ensure the highest purity and best taste," the company reported.

The waters are available in 20-ounce PET bottles at supermarkets, grocery stores, restaurants, convenience outlets and other retailers in the eastern United States. "Our waters are ideal for the growing demographic that is serious about performance and health but also wants a dash of flavor," company President Raymond Jaquez said. "We did taste tests of our waters at a major national retailer and the consumer response was tremendous," he said.

Flavored and functional waters witnessed double-digit growth last year and are the fastest growing segment of the beverage category, according to a study by the Beverage Marketing Corporation.
