Manufacturer's Brand Overview: [Edit]
According to the Ancient Chinese Tea Masters, teas are classified in six different tea families, each categorized by a different color. Due to the bluish reflections of the Oolong Tea leaf in its dried form, Oolong Tea is classified as "blue tea" and is said to have similiar benefits to that of Green and Black teas. Please enjoy the delicious taste of New Leaf Blue Tea.

Diet Lemon
Category: Tea: Sweetened; Packaging: 16.9 fl oz
BevNET Review:
New Leaf has hit the nail on the head with its zero calorie Diet Blue Leaf tea, delivering a natural level of sweetness in this carefully formulated product. Using a blend of acesulfame potassium and sucralose, they've managed to keep the aftertaste light, which is certainly what we like to see in a diet product. Packaging fits with the New Leaf brand, providing attractive fruit imagery on top of New Leaf's tea leaf logo. Overall, lemon flavored Diet Blue Leaf is a great tasting product in an attractive 16.9 oz bottle.

Diet Peach
Category: Tea: Sweetened; Packaging: 16.9 fl oz
BevNET Review:
The Peach variety of Diet New Leaf Blue Tea has slightly more aftertaste than the Lemon variety, but it still manages to impart natural tea and peach flavors. Plus, they've balanced the peach and tea flavors, with neither one overpowering the other. Overall, it's definitely among the best tasting diet sweetened teas that we've sampled in recent memory. Finally, there's the packaging, which presents polished and attractive imagery on a front panel that's clean and easy to read. Definitely worth a try.

Peach
Category: Tea: Sweetened; Packaging: 16.9 fl oz (500 ml) glass
BevNET Review:
New Leaf's Peach Blue Tea is definitely one of the best flavors in the New Leaf lineup. Starting with an inviting peach aroma, the product has a well balanced flavor that has just the right amount of tea and peach flavors. Plus, the peach flavor has that nice fuzziness that well executed peach flavors have. Finally, we love the smooth finish of the product, which is certainly due in part to the use of evaporated cane juice. Overall, a well executed product that is a worthy choice if you are in the market for an RTD tea.

Lemon
Category: Tea: Alternative; Packaging: 16.9 fl oz glass (500 ml)
BevNET Review:
New Leaf's Blue Tea is a clever attempt to take oolong tea, a staple of the RTD tea category and give it a makeover into something new and upscale. As far as the flavor is concerned, it will taste very familiar to most, if not all, consumers. Its smooth blend of oolong tea and lemon flavor has been enhanced with ginseng & ginkgo and sweetened with evaporated cane juice (which is now organically derived). Overall, Lemon Blue is a very drinkable, mainstream product that is best described a higher-caliber Snapple or AriZona. The packaging is the same proprietary bottle that New Leaf has always used, with a brand new label design. For the Lemon flavor, this means the inclusion of vibrant images of lemons along the bottom, giving the product a very appetizing look. The rest of the label is clean and polished-looking, leaving the product looking very presentable and appealing.

Raspberry
Category: Tea: Alternative; Packaging: 16.9 fl oz glass (500 ml)
BevNET Review:
Raspberry Blue Tea follows in the footsteps of the Lemon variety, with a base of oolong tea and herbal additives sweetened with organic evaporated cane juice. The addition of raspberry flavor makes the product seem much sweeter than the Lemon variety. Whether this is a good thing or not will really depend on personal preference. In our opinion, it's on par with competing raspberry flavored teas, so it's an acceptable level for Blue Tea to have. As far as the packaging is concerned, we'd like a little more red on the label as it currently seems a bit too pink, but otherwise it's a very clean and appetizing-looking product.
