THE NEW YORK COCKTAIL COMPANY DEBUTS THE OLD FASHIONED

The New York Cocktail Company Launches Ready To Serve, Bottled Old Fashioned Crafted By Jeff Bell, Award-Winning Mixologist and Please Don’t Tell Owner

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York, NY (November 2024): Launching on November 25th, The New York Cocktail Company (NYCC) is unveiling its latest bottled, ready to serve creation: a premium Old Fashioned cocktail, expertly crafted in collaboration with Jeff Bell, award-winning mixologist and owner of the renowned speakeasy Please Don’t Tell (PDT). NYCC’s Old Fashioned embodies the essence of sophistication and tradition, delivering a perfect balance of premium bourbon from award-winning Milam & Greene from Blanco, Texas, sherry wine, apricot liqueur, honey, and bitters.

“The Old Fashioned is one of the world’s most iconic whiskey cocktails, and it’s no coincidence that the Benton’s variation is one of the most popular drinks on PDT’s menu. Now, I’m excited to bring this timeless classic to life in a lighter bottled version, so you can enjoy it with friends and family at home, at a party, or wherever the occasion calls for it,” says Jeff Bell. “This version starts with bright citrus notes, followed by a rich, fruit-forward depth and finishes with its signature bittersweet complexity.”

Each individual batch of the ready-to-serve Old Fashioned is thoughtfully made and includes prestigious ingredients to ensure customers can enjoy a timeless bar experience, embodying the essence of New York City from wherever they are. Jeff Bell perfected the rich, complex Old Fashioned flavor profile that pays homage to the cocktail’s history with Milam & Greene Triple Cask Bourbon. The Triple Cask Bourbon from Milam & Greene was named World’s Best Whiskey, and was made by some of the most qualified whiskey professionals – Heather Greene, CEO of Milam & Greene and 2023 Master Blender of the Year and Marlene Holmes, 2024 Master Distiller of the Year.

“Milam & Greene and the New York Cocktail Company share the same tenets of excellence that consumers will find in each bottle: amazing flavor, attention to detail, and elegance to elevate the everyday experience," says Heather Greene. "The Triple Cask is a sophisticated Bourbon created to drink neat or on the rocks, but in the hands of someone like Jeff Bell, it becomes an extraordinary cocktail experience too."

“The New York Cocktail Company is the curator of the best bars in New York City, drawing inspiration from the lineage of classic speakeasies to the modern craft cocktail bars,” says Linden Pride, co-founder of The New York Cocktail Company. “When developing the ready to serve Old Fashioned, our team knew we needed Jeff Bell’s expertise to capture the heart of this timeless cocktail while paying tribute to one of the best cocktail bars in the world.”

NYCC’s Old Fashioned is designed for ease of use—simply pour over ice or drink straight up, garnish with an orange twist, and savor the taste of this world-class cocktail anywhere. The Old Fashioned is the latest ready to serve cocktail from the New York Cocktail Company following the brand’s launch with four Negroni cocktails as a tribute to Dante NYC— a Greenwich Village cafe and landmark in the city’s cocktail scene. The Negroni cocktails include the Classic, Chocolate, Mezcalito and Espresso Negroni, crafted by Renato Tonelli, Beverage Director at Dante, and the 2023 American Bartender of the Year.

All 375ML bottles from The New York Cocktail Company cost $28 and are available for purchase in select New York wine and spirit retailers and online at NewYorkCocktailCompany.com. The NYCC Negronis and Old Fashioned can be enjoyed in the rooms of the Carlyle Hotel and at the NYCC x Dante pop-up bar in The Clubhouse on the second floor of the Nordstrom NYC Men’s Store. Additionally, the NYCC Negroni cocktails are available to enjoy at Caffe Dante, Dante West Village, The Irish Exit and in the rooms of the Mandarin Oriental.
