Empyrean Brewing Co. Unveils Golden Cypher Hazy IPA: A Juicy New Addition to the Year-Round Lineup

LINCOLN, NE — April 2025 — Empyrean Brewing Co. is thrilled to introduce Golden Cypher Hazy IPA, a smooth, juicy IPA packed with notes of apricot and citrus. At 6% ABV, this full-bodied brew balances fruit-forward flavor with subtle bitterness for a refreshing and easygoing finish. 

Crafted with Mosaic, Citra, and locally sourced Nebraska Vista hops, Golden Cypher is designed for hop lovers looking for a vibrant yet approachable hazy brew. Its velvety texture and lush aroma make it a standout addition to Empyrean’s craft beer portfolio.

“We’ve spent the past five years experimenting with 12 different hazy recipes,” said Jim Engelbart, Operations Manager. “Golden Cypher brings together our favorite combo of yeast and hop varieties, including Vista hops grown in Fort Calhoun Nebraska, to create a beer that’s bursting with juicy flavor while staying balanced and drinkable.”

Golden Cypher Hazy IPA will be available on draft and in 4-pack 12oz cans at select locations beginning April 2025. Golden Cypher is now on tap at Lazlo’s Brewery & Grill and FireWorks restaurant for those looking to get an early taste ahead of its wider release.
