Acclaimed Midwest craft distillery, Tattersall Distilling, announced today its popular ready-to-drink Brandy Old Fashioned is now available at retailers, bars and restaurants across Wisconsin. First introduced in 2023 as a tribute to the state’s official cocktail, Tattersall’s Brandy Old Fashioned quickly became a fan favorite at the distillery and throughout Minnesota. Now, with an updated recipe, every pour is crafted to deliver the beloved Wisconsin supper club experience in any setting.
“With the Brandy Old Fashioned, we wanted to bottle up more than just a cocktail – we wanted to capture the nostalgia and ritual of a classic Wisconsin supper club,” says Jon Kreidler, founder and chief officer of Tattersall Distilling. “Whether you’re up North at the cabin, tailgating, camping, or hosting friends at home, our Brandy Old Fashioned brings that tradition to drinkers wherever they raise a glass.”
Tattersall’s Brandy Old Fashioned pays homage to Wisconsin’s cocktail heritage, dating back to World War II, when brandy became the state’s spirit of choice. The bottled cocktail is made with aged brandy, along with sour cherry, orange and cranberry liqueurs, and a dash of housemade bitters. Tattersall suggests serving it over ice, topped with sweet or sour soda, and garnished with a cherry and orange slice – the true Wisconsin way.
