ROGERS, Ark. (March 31, 2026) — Onyx Coffee Lab has been named a finalist for Outstanding Bar in the 2026 James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards, a landmark achievement not only for Onyx, but for the specialty coffee industry at large.

After being named one of 20 semifinalists in January, Onyx now advances as the first coffee company to receive finalist status in a category long associated with the country’s most celebrated cocktail bars and wine programs. The recognition affirms what Onyx has championed for years: that specialty coffee belongs in the same conversation as the most rigorous and imaginative beverage experiences in hospitality.
