About Good Boy Vodka
Good Boy Vodka is one of the fastest-growing independent spirits and RTD brands in the U.S., built around premium products, high-energy marketing, memorable partnerships, and a mission that gives back through The Good Boy Foundation.
Our portfolio continues to expand across vodka, ready-to-drink cocktails, innovation platforms, events, partnerships, and national retail and on-premise accounts. As the brand grows, we are building a larger marketing team capable of supporting national campaigns while still creating authentic, market-level content.
Role Overview
The Social Media Specialist will support the day-to-day execution of Good Boy Vodka’s social media strategy across all major platforms.
This is a hands-on content and community role for someone who understands how to make a beverage brand feel current, entertaining, relevant, and culturally connected while maintaining a consistent brand identity.
The Social Media Specialist will work closely with the Social Media Manager, Brand Managers, Graphic Design team, Field Marketing team, sales organization, athletes, ambassadors, influencers, partners, and event teams to capture and publish content that brings the Good Boy brand to life.
This individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where content opportunities can develop quickly and where strong judgment, responsiveness, creativity, and attention to detail are critical.
Because Good Boy Vodka is an alcohol brand, the Social Media Specialist must also understand the importance of responsible marketing practices, age-appropriate audiences, platform requirements, and alcohol-industry advertising guidelines.

- Develop, schedule, publish, and maintain social media content according to the approved content calendar.
- Write engaging captions and social copy consistent with Good Boy’s brand voice.
- Maintain a consistent posting cadence across platforms.
- Adapt content by platform rather than simply reposting identical creative everywhere.
- Monitor platform trends, cultural moments, memes, audio, formats, and emerging social opportunities relevant to the brand.
- Help identify opportunities for timely and reactive content.
Content Creation
- Capture and create photo, video, short-form video, behind-the-scenes, event, lifestyle, and product content.
- Edit short-form social content including Reels, TikToks, Stories, and other vertical video.
- Work closely with Graphic Artists to request and develop social creative.
- Help develop content around product launches, sponsorships, partnerships, promotions, events, charitable initiatives, athletes, ambassadors, and influencers.
- Maintain organized libraries of approved photography, video, graphics, logos, product imagery, and other digital assets.
- Repurpose existing brand assets into platform-specific content when appropriate.
Community Management
- Monitor comments, direct messages, tags, mentions, and user-generated content.
- Respond to consumers in an engaging, professional, and brand-appropriate manner.
- Escalate consumer complaints, product concerns, distributor questions, account inquiries, or sensitive issues to the appropriate internal team.
- Identify high-quality user-generated content and opportunities to engage with consumers, accounts, partners, and creators.

- Attend select Good Boy events, sponsorships, activations, photoshoots, and content shoots as needed.
- Help ensure national social channels reflect what is happening in local Good Boy markets.
- Identify strong regional content that can be elevated nationally.
Influencer & Partnership Support
- Support influencer, athlete, celebrity, creator, and brand partnership activations.
- Track required social deliverables and assist with collecting content from partners.
- Monitor partner posts and engagement.
- Help identify potential creators and influencers who align with the Good Boy brand.
- Coordinate with the Social Media Manager and Brand Managers on content approvals and posting schedules.
Social Media Analytics
- Track platform performance including reach, impressions, engagement, follower growth, video views, shares, saves, clicks, and other key metrics.
- Assist with weekly and monthly social media reporting.
- Identify top-performing content and help determine why it performed well.
- Recommend opportunities to improve content based on performance data.
- Help evaluate social performance around launches, events, sponsorships, influencers, and major campaigns.
- Maintain organized reporting and historical performance records.
Cross-Functional Marketing Support
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager to execute the broader social strategy.
- Coordinate with Brand Managers on product launches, promotions, campaigns, sponsorships, and regional marketing priorities.
- Work with Graphic Artists on creative requests and deadlines.
- Coordinate with Field Market Managers and sales teams to gather market-level content.
- Support photoshoots and video shoots when needed.
- Assist with marketing projects outside of social media when business priorities require additional support.
Qualifications

- Strong judgment and ability to recognize when social conversations should be escalated internally.
- Must be 21 years of age or older due to the nature of the alcohol beverage industry.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate lives and breathes social media but also understands that successful brand social is more than simply posting content.
You should understand what makes people stop scrolling, what feels authentic versus overly produced, how different platforms behave, and how to turn real-world brand activity into compelling digital content.
You are proactive, resourceful, highly organized, and comfortable working with many different teams. You notice opportunities others miss and are willing to move quickly when the brand has an opportunity to join a relevant conversation.
Most importantly, you should be excited to help build a rapidly growing national beverage brand.
