The Finnish Long Drink, the iconic sparkling citrus beverage rooted in Finnish tradition, is on a mission to bring fun back to the sauna. Today, the brand announced the launch of its sweatiest role yet: Director of Sweat Equity, a paid position for one bold, outgoing personality to tour the U.S. in search of the most fun, inclusive, and Finnish-inspired saunas.
Part content creator, part cultural critic, and full-time sauna enthusiast, the Director of Sweat Equity will visit saunas across the country, sharing their journey on social media, sipping Long Drink, and bestowing the coveted “Long Drink Sauna Approval” badge to the stops with the best löylys.
“There’s a growing obsession with saunas in the U.S., but things have gotten a little too serious in the heat,” said Sakari Manninen, Co-Founder of The Finnish Long Drink. “In Finland, saunas are a place for relaxation, not perfection. Our Director of Sweat Equity will help us spotlight the places that honor that spirit, with a healthy dose of fun.”
Perks include:
- $10,000 prize
- 7-day, all-expenses-paid travel experience
- Year’s supply of The Finnish Long Drink
- A very official “Director of Sweat Equity” badge
- Serious sauna bragging rights
Applicants must be 21+, comfortable on camera (and sometimes in a towel), and ready to bring personality and authenticity to every post and plunge. Bonus points for anyone with Finnish roots, a love of cold plunges, or prior content creation experience.
How to apply: Candidates can apply by visiting thelongdrink.com/sweatequity and submitting a brief questionnaire and a 60-second video explaining why they should land the role. No resume required. Applications close August 29, 2025, and the winner will be announced by September 12, 2025.
